I had a...Excellent post, Katrice! (oops!) K. Tree.<br /><br />I had a car accident this week, as I was heading to the hospital to see one of my residents. I believed I totaled my car--still waiting on the insurance to call me with a decision-- but thank God I didn't suffer any injuries. As I was waiting at the urgent care--I went to be checked out, just in case-- I realized I have not completed any advance directives. I'm daily preaching to my residents and families about the importance of having DPOA and Living Wills, etc but I have not done it.
